The Curabond grade is supplied to many customers worldwide and is used in a wide variety of applications where conventional thermoplastic powders do not meet the necessary requirements such as heat resistance.

Novel hot melt powder adhesives for the composites sector. Fusetex Ltd have developed a range of cross-linkable thermoplastic powders for use in various applications for the composites sector.

Dry powdered adhesives for automotive industry. With the constant demand to lower costs and environmental pressures to lower emissions, dry powdered adhesives are the best and most economical answer.

Whereas most conventional thermoplastic powders do not meet the necessary requirements of these applications, such as not 'cracking' when flexed, we have achieved a technically excellent product using a powder to rubber crumb ratio as low as 10-15%.

One of the biggest problems with conventional technologies is "bubbling" (delamination) of the fabrics after washing and ironing. Items produced using this range of powders do not suffer from iron damage. It is also the adhesive of choice for fixing interlinings or laminating multiple fabric layers where there will be a high temperature laundering or even autoclaving requirement for the finished garment, gown or drape.

Fusetex, together with a major coating and laminating machinery supplier, have developed a new advanced system for the lamination of lingerie, specifically bras, offering numerous advantages over conventional technologies such as PUR and paste dot.
