Expertise and experience in modern high-performance polymer technology

Our team has been involved in the production and sales of hot melt adhesive powders since 1982. Whereas many of the polymer systems used today such as polyamides and polyesters were developed for the fusible interlining market, Fusetex have developed a range of products designed specifically for the specialty sectors such as automotive lamination and more recently, composites. We work very closely with both existing and potential customers on various projects and have the ability to tailor make our hot melt powders for specific end-use applications. An example of this is where we have introduced an epoxy resin into the polymer matrix of our cross-linkable grade, FX 2030, to increase stiffness for an application involving carbon fibre. Fusetex cooperates closely with many major coating and laminating machinery companies worldwide offering potential users the facility to run trials to determine the suitability of the products for any given application. We welcome enquiries where development is at an early stage. Fusetex - Innovators in Hot Melt Adhesives.

Curabond powder adhesives for apparel & Non Iron Shirts

For many years, hot melt adhesive powders have utilised thermoplastic polymers. By definition, they can be reheated and bonded many times over. In certain applications, it is a disadvantage to have an adhesive system which can be re-melted when subjected to heat after initial bonding.

Dry powdered adhesives for automotive industry

With the constant demand to lower costs and environmental pressures to lower emissions, dry powdered adhesives are the best and most economical answer.

Being dry, there are no solvents to recover or water to dry off, hence lower production costs.
