We have recently launched an updated range of general laminating powders headed by FX240.
FX 240 is a carboxylated polymer compound and offers excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates including metal foils, fibreglass and foam. With a melting range of 100 - 110°C, it is an ideal replacement for applications using polyester or polyamide powders. In certain applications, it has also been used as a replacement for conventional EVA's; due to it imparting a certain degree of chemical adhesion, as opposed to purely mechanical, a lower coating weight can often be achieved making it a cost effective alternative.
